TeraBox Storage Full? How to Clean Up and Manage Your Data

It looks impossible to fill 1 TB space, but if you save 4K videos, movies, and phone backups regularly, TeraBox storage gets full faster than you think.
In this post, I will show you simple ways to clean up your TeraBox account and free up space.
1. Find and Delete Large Files
TeraBox website does not have a good “Sort by Size” option. The best way is to use the TeraBox desktop app or mobile app.
Open the app → Go to Files → Sort by size. You will easily find those big 5 GB or 10 GB movies that you downloaded months ago and forgot about. Delete the ones you no longer need.
2. Empty the Recycle Bin (Very Important)
Many people don’t know this. When you delete a file, it goes to the Recycle Bin and still takes up your storage space.
- Free users: Files stay for 10 days
- Premium users: Files stay for 30 days
Go to Recycle Bin and empty it completely. You will get that space back immediately.
3. Remove Duplicate Photos
If you have turned on automatic phone backup, many duplicate photos get uploaded again and again.
Open the TeraBox mobile app → Look for “Space Analyzer” or “Duplicate Files” tool → Run it. It will show you duplicate photos and videos. Delete the extra copies to free up good space.
4. Stream Instead of Storing Forever
Do you really need to keep a movie forever if you will watch it only once?
Upload the video → Watch it online using iTeraPlay → Then delete it from your account. This way your cloud stays clean and you don’t waste permanent space.
5. Move Files to Another TeraBox Account
If your main account is full, you can move important files to a second TeraBox account. There are two easy ways:
Method 1: Manual Copy
- Open the file → Create a share link
- Open the link in another browser or phone where you are logged into the second account
- Click “Save to my TeraBox” or “Download to my account”
Method 2: Using TeraBox Bot / Link Converter
There are official and unofficial TeraBox bots (especially on Telegram) that can transfer files from one account to another using the share link. Just paste the link in the bot and it saves the file to your other account automatically.
This method is faster when you have many files to move.
